Brynn Whitfield officially said peace out to The Real Housewives of New York after two seasons on the hit Bravo show.
On Monday, Brynn announced her departure from RHONY in a post on her Instagram Story.
The 38-year-old shared that she decided to walk away from reality TV – for now- and focus on her dating app, podcast, upcoming book.
As for her time on reality TV, Brynn called it “the most chaotic and magical chapters” of her life and thanked fans for their support.
“The Real Housewives of New York City will always be one of the most fun, chaotic, and magical chapters of my life. It was the honor of a lifetime to help reboot such an iconic franchise. From day one, I’ve believed RHONY is a fan’s show – we’re just temporary custodians of something that truly belongs to the viewers,” Brynn wrote. “I hope I made you laugh (a lot), cry (a little), and more than anything – I hope there’s a TV in heaven so that Mimi (who LIVED for her shows) could watch me and be proud.“
“To every person who gave me a chance, cheered me on, and afforded me love and grace – thank you. I’m endlessly grateful” she added.

Despite Brynn seemingly walking away from her role on RHONY, the rumor mill suggests that she wasn’t given much of a choice by Bravo.
According to Crazy Days and Nights, Brynn was told by Bravo that her contract would not be renewed for season 16 of RHONY so she “pretended to quit” the show instead.

Tell us – Are you surprised Brynn won’t be back for season 16? Will you miss Brynn? Who should Bravo get to replace her?
