What happens in Italy doesn’t stay in Italy!
Stassi Schroeder recently revealed that the awkward fight she endured with husband, Beau Clark while filming season 2 of Vanderpump Villa didn’t stay in Italy.
During the season 2 premiere of Vanderpump Villa, Stassi and Beau found themselves arguing the entire time about his sister.
“Beau has a habit of putting his sister Georgia’s needs before anyone else — including his wife. Beau met his sister later in life so maybe this is just all him making up for lost time?” Stassi said in her confessional. “I try to pretend like it isn’t weird but it is f–king weird.”
The tension between the couple then increased over the fact that Beau has a tattoo of his sister’s name but not his wife’s.
“[Your ex] Jax [Taylor] has yours. I’d rather not copy your ex-boyfriend’s [tattoo],” Beau said. “When you get someone’s name — who you are in a relationship with — tattooed, it is notorious for bad omens.”
Stassi failed to see Beau’s point of view.
“It is time you get my signature on your body. It hurts my feelings,” Stassi confessed. “You can’t have your sister on your arm and not your wife and the mother of your children. That is f–king weird.”
She continued: “It is a bad omen when you are in the beginning of a relationship or a toxic relationship. But when you are married to someone, it makes me feel really embarrassed. I am feeling really angry.”
Days after the premiere, Stassi opened up about her and Beau’s chaotic showdown while appearing on the Monday, April 28, episode of the Taste of Taylor podcast.
“It was a blip on the radar. That’s how I saw it,” podcast host Taylor Strecker, a close friend of the couple said of the onscreen fight.
“It doesn’t feel like a blip when it’s on national TV. And when you guys forced me to go to therapy afterwards,” Stassi replied, per Us Weekly.
On the show, the 36-year-old questioned why everyone in her life was pushing her to enter therapy but now admits that she’s “in it now.”
The Vanderpump Rules OG also insists that she was never worried about Beau’s close relationship with his sister, acknowledging it’s “their culture.”
“That’s never been a thought in my brain. I love to joke about Georgia and Beau’s closeness, but it’s an Italian thing. Like, all the Italian people do it,” she explained. “They link arms and hold hands with their brothers and sisters — and it’s f–king weird to me.”
“I’m allowed to be like, ‘Hey, this is wacky. This is kind of f–king wacky.’ I’m not mad about that but I need to call it out,” Stassi added.
