Bethenny Frankel and Andy Cohen’s once cozy friendship has gone up flames amid the Real Housewives of New York OG’s “reality TV reckoning.”

The Skinnygirl mogul is ready to revolutionize the world of reality TV by creating union to better protect the talent behind your favorite reality shows.
Naturally, Bethenny’s plans are stoking the flames within the Bravoverse. The reality TV icon caused quite the commotion when her attorney’s sent a letter to Bravo and NBCUniversal accusing them of “abuse.”
Bethenny vs Andy
During an appearance on Team Coco’s Literally! with Rob Lowe podcast, Bethenny said, “I can tell you with great certainty that everyone at Bravo likely despises me, including Andy Cohen because it’s very personal and because they have to protect the realm.”
She continued, “While we’re talking about a union and what that would look like, [SAG-AFTRA] also want to know in the short term what they could do to help. And I was saying there should be some language, some contract language that goes into these contracts that everybody in reality knows to include.”
The RHONY alum also has a bone to pick with “unrealistic NDAs.”
Bethenny said, “It’s a very complicated thing I walked myself into whilst also burning bridges and seeming like I’m biting the hand that fed me, but I fed myself.”
She added, “There are a lot of people who didn’t get fed.”
Bravo responded to Bethenny’s NDA claims in a statement to Deadline:“Confidentiality clauses are standard practice in reality programming to prevent disclosure of storylines prior to air. They are not intended to prevent disclosure by cast and crew of unlawful acts in the workplace, and they have not been enforced in that manner.”
Bethenny gives herself kudos
Of course, Bethenny had to give herself a major pat on the back. According to Bethenny, she is the “shining example” of building a successful career off the back of her Bravo fame unlike “all [the] other casualties whose lives have been destroyed” by reality TV.
“Instead of just counting my money and not pissing anybody off, I chose to, you know, shake that whole thing up and burn bridges and torch the kingdom, Khaleesi-style,” the 52-year-old said.
Bethenny and Andy’s rocky history
This isn’t the first time Bethenny and Andy have feuded. Bethenny trashed Real Housewives and RHONY on her podcast which rubbed Andy the wrong way. However, the two hashed out their issues in 2022 and seemed to be moving forward with their friendship.

Yet, now the future of Bethenny and Andy’s friendship remains up in the air. Andy has yet to comment on Bethenny’s recent accusations against Bravo.
