The highly anticipated Vanderpump Rules spinoff is officially happening! Yayyyy!
For years, fans have been waiting for a Pump Rules spinoff show to come to fruition after Bravo initially tossed around the idea in 2020.
If you don’t know, in 2020, a Vanderpump Rules spinoff was in the works, but the whole project fell apart when Bravo fired Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute in June 2020.
While appearing on The Toast in April 2022, Stassi revealed that a Vanderpump Rules spinoff show, titled Valley Rules, was set to begin filming at her October 2020 wedding to now-husband Beau Clark in Italy.
“They were going to slowly transition us and keep Vanderpump Rules with a whole new cast of people who work at the restaurant, and so the rest of us would transition into this,” Stassi explained at the time.
She continued, “The way that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ started, where it was like ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ and it transitioned into ‘Vanderpump,’ that’s what we were going to do with my wedding.”
Obviously, none of that happened. Stassi and Beau’s Italian wedding was pushed until May 2022 due to COVID-19. Then, Bravo decided to shake up the Vanderpump Rules cast ahead of season 9. Almost six months after firing Stassi and Kristen, the network let Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor go in December 2020.
Three years later, Bravo suddenly has a renewed interest in making a Vanderpump Rules spinoff show thanks to Scandoval, which became a cultural phenomenon in 2023.
After months of speculation and gossip, filming for the unnamed spinoff show started in July. Production will continue for two to three months, with the show premiering in 2024. The spinoff show will likely air at the same time as season 11 of Pump Rules. The spinoff cast combines some familiar faces with a bevy of new and successful Los Angeles residents.
Let’s meet the cast of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff show:
Jax Taylor + Brittany Cartwright
Pump Rules OG Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, will lead the Vanderpump Rules spinoff show. Jax and Brittany’s storyline will focus on expanding their family and opening up their new sports bar called Jax’s Studio City.
Kristen Doute + Luke Broderick
Jax and Brittany will be joined by their former Vanderpump Rules co-star Kristen Doute and her boyfriend, Luke Broderick. The 40-year-old and Broderick have been dating since Summer 2022. The met at the Colorado wedding of fellow Pump Rules alum Rachael O’Brien.
Michelle Lally and Jesse Lally
Michelle Lally and her husband, Jesse Lally, are luxury real estate agents. They both work at The Beverly Hills Estates, which is a “Luxury Real Estate Brokerage & Private Social Club,” according to its Instagram page.
They are both parents to daughter, Isabella, 3. From the looks of their Instagram page, Michelle and Jesse live quite the luxurious, jet-set life – we are talking multiple trips to Europe every years and more. Also, Michelle is very friendly with several members of Vanderpump Rules cast – past and present. Michelle’s Instagram is littered with photos and comments from the likes of Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, and Katie Maloney as well as her new co-stars Brittany, Kristen, and Zach Wickham.
Nia Sanchez + Daniel Booko
Former Miss USA Nia Sanchez and her husband, Daniel Booko, of iCarly fame, will also star on the spinoff show. The couple are parents to three children – a son, Asher, 2, and newborn twin daughters, Isabelle and Zariah.
Nia is an influencer and pageant coach, who is friendly with several Bravo stars including Katie Maloney and Teddi Mellencamp. Meanwhile Daniel is a working actor, who appeared on shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Goldbergs as well as numerous movies including Spirited and Falling for Christmas.
Janet Caperna + Jason Caperna
Janet Caperna and her hubby, Jason Caperna, will round out the couples on the upcoming Vanderpump Rules spinoff show. The two are expecting their first children in 2024.
These two are once again extremely connected to current and past Vanderpump Rules cast members. Janet is very good friends with Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Brittany Cartwright.
Zach Wickham
Zack Whickham is Brittany Cartwright’s longtime BFF. If you’re an avid Vanderpump Rules fan you might remember him as he’s been featured on the show for years.
Beyond being Brittany’s BFF, Zack is an executive assistant for A-List celebrities including Nicole Nicole Scherzinger. He’s also a communications and social media expert.
Jasmine Goode
Last but not least we have Jasmine Goode, who will round out the Vanderpump Rules spinoff cast. Jasmine is a reality TV veteran having appeared on season 21 of The Bachelor and season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. Before dipping her toe in the world of reality TV, Jasmine was an NFL Cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets. She was also NBA Dancer for the Golden State Warriors.
She currently works as a real estate agent for Douglas Elliman in Los Angeles.
