Poll: Which RHONJ Star Would You Rather See Fired?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been on “pause” for the summer. The RHONJ cast has notoriously filmed during the summer months for years however Bravo is giving the cast members some time off while they figure out how to move the franchise forward successfully.

Rumors have been swirling that Bravo was planning to shakeup the RHONJ cast in a major way for season 14 but alas that is NOT happening. Filming for season 14 beings later this week according to multiple media outlets.

While Andy Cohen insists that RHONJ isn’t ready to be rebooted a la the Real Housewives of New York just yet – it is pretty clear that some changes need to happen within the RHONJ cast. Fans are currently bored AF with the decade long drama between Teresa Giudice and Melissa and Joe Gorga.

“I don’t think we’re at that place yet. I don’t think we need to, you could keep them both [Teresa and Melissa] on, and you could take one or the other off, or you could take them both off. And the show would still be great.” Andy recently told Showbiz Cheatsheet.

When it comes to getting rid of either Melissa Gorga or Teresa Giudice a lot of insiders are claiming that Missy G would need to be the one to go.

Former RHONJ producer Carlos King doesn’t believe that Melissa has what it takes to lead RHONJ like Teresa Giudice has for the last 13 seasons.

“I just don’t know what a show would be like without Teresa and [if] Melissa is in charge of the girls. She can barely be in charge of Envy, her store, and the website. She can barely be in charge of the crib,” Carlos explained on his Reality With the King podcast.

An inside source also tells The U.S. Sun, Bravo “higher-ups are saying if there’s no Teresa, there is no show.”

However, fans believe that at least one of the longtime RHONJ stars need to go for the show to continue on beyond season 14.

“If anyone’s going to be out, it’s Melissa. She could potentially be on the chopping block. From what’s being discussed, I would be nervous if I were her,” the source adds, noting that it’s “Teresa’s show,” and that there’s “no RHONJ without her.”
